Emily B. Littman
Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Emily Littman is a neuropsychologist who specializes in evaluating cognitive and behavioral changes related to a wide variety of medical and mental health conditions. Assessing patients of all ages — from adolescence to late adulthood —  these conditions include (but are not limited to) traumatic brain injury, stroke, learning disabilities, Alzheimer’s Disease, Lewy Body Disease and other dementias, attention problems, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease. 

Dr. Littman graduated with honors from Connecticut College and received her Ph.D. in psychology from New York University where she was a Teaching Fellow and Ida Broadman Memorial Scholar. She did her pre-doctoral psychology internship at the Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital and completed postdoctoral training in neuropsychology on the Yale Seizure Unit/ Neurology Service at the West Haven V.A. Hospital and the Department of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine.   

Dr. Littman has been in private practice since 1983 and also has been as Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale School of Medicine and Practicum Supervisor for doctoral level students at the University of Hartford.

Dr. Littman is a on the Active Community Staff of Waterbury and St. Mary’s Hospitals in Waterbury, Connecticut and is a consultant to Greenwoods Counseling Referrals in Litchfield, Connecticut.  She is a member of many professional organizations including the National Academy of Neuropsychology, the International Neuropsychological Society, the Connecticut Neuropsychological Society.
